What is the cost of working with Mason Luxury Travel?
There is no cost* to the client! Mason Luxury Travel is commissioned by the hotels she books for her clients; however, this is at no extra cost to the client—no travel planning fee, no higher nightly rates, etc. MLT will only provide her clients the best available rate. Allowing MLT to make the booking allows for better service for her clients.
*please do keep in mind that a travel planning fee could be associated with a client looking for MLT to plan every detail of a multi-week and multi-destination trip. An example could include a client looking to travel to 8 different destinations in a 4-week period within Europe and asks MLT to plan every transfer, restaurant reservation and excursion.
What are some examples of the benefits or perks I would receive if I book through Mason Luxury Travel?
Some perks and benefits may include a $100 hotel/resort credit to use onsite, complimentary breakfast, room upgrades based on availability, early check-in and late check-out based on availability. Beyond that, trip planning can be stressful—it is the goal of Mason Luxury Travel to make travel as seamless as possible for her clients! Emily works directly with the hotel contacts to ensure they are prepared for her clients arrival and can assist with tours, excursions, restaurants and beyond!
Why wouldn’t I just book my vacation on my own?
Mason Luxury Travel has the connections and relationships with hotels, properties and destination management companies, to make sure the accommodations and activities chosen are exceptional. Please know exceptional doesn’t mean the most expensive! It simply means MLT has the knowledge of elevated properties with owners and staff to treat her clients like the VIP they are.
Even though it might be easy to book a quick hotel on your own, you would lose out on the complimentary perks and benefits (see FAQ above!), as well as the connection to our “boots on the ground”. Should there be any travel issues, Mason Luxury Travel can step in and assist, taking away the stress from her clients. If you book on your own, you would not have that complimentary level of assistance.
Can MLT help with booking tours, transfers, activities, restaurants, etc.?
Absolutely! Mason Luxury Travel LOVES planning these types of details—finding the best restaurants, hidden gems, unique and private tours and experiences, as well as assisting with transfers/transportation for her clients.
What about air travel?
Mason Luxury Travel can assist with finding the best flights, depending on what her clients are looking for—want the lowest price? The shortest layover? The aisle seat in the first row? The SmartFlyer Air Team can assist and if there are any issues (i.e., cancellations), they are your contact, rather than spending long minutes (or hours!) on the phone with airline companies. We do that for you! Please keep in mind that MLT is not able to assist with booking flights with points.
